J&L Furniture Services not only manages consolidated shipping services for Hickory Furniture Mart, but they also provide furniture restoration, Upholstery service, Contractor and Service Calls in North Carolina and part of the East Coast, now they are offering a new express shipping service for local deliveries and Long Distance.

J&L stands for "Juan" and "Luis," a father-son team that makes up the business. Juan Rodriguez has been involved in woodworking and repair work since 1980, helping his father in his carpenter shop in Guatemala City. He moved to Morganton, NC, in 1996 and started working inside the Drexel Furniture and Henredon Furniture factories, doing repair work for both until 2005, when he and his son Luis Rodriguez decided to open up their own business.

They wanted to focus on a variety of furniture-related services that they noticed a genuine need for, with so much furniture being manufactured and sold in this area.
