Receiving Fees

If J&L Furniture Service is the carrier, we do not charge a receiving fee

If J&L Furniture Service is not the carrier, there is a receiving fee of $30.00 per piece and a $85.00 handling fee.

Storage Fees

J&L Furniture Service does not charge for storage during the first 60 days.

On the 61st day, storage fees begin to apply to all pieces in storage with a fee of $20.00 per piece or carton / monthly charge

J&L Furniture Service Consolidation

J&L Furniture Service consolidation fee is $65.00.

Overweight and Oversized Items

Items weighing more than 250 lbs require customers to provide assistance. If they are unable to help, there will be an additional $200.00 fee for the driver to look for additional help in the area.

Pick-Ups:

If J&L Furniture Service is the carrier, we do not charge the pick ups
If J&L Furniture Service is not the carrier, then the following fees apply:

Local pick-up fee by county: Catawba/Caldwell/Alexander/Burke are $50.00 for up to 3 pieces. Any additional pieces or cartons are $30.00 with a $45.00 processing fee.

Pick-up outside areas: Charges are based on origin location per our freight calculator. Freight plus a $45.00 processing fee.

Returns to Manufacturer or Stores

If J&L Furniture Service is the carrier, we do not charge a return fee

If J&L Furniture Service is not the carrier, there is a return fee of $40.00 for up to 3 pieces. Any additional pieces or cartons are $10.00 with a $45.00 processing fee.

Materials / Packaging Cost:

All Orders received raw (floor sales) will charge materials fee

Chair & Ottoman bag $4.00 each
Sofas Measuring over 96’’/105’’ $30.00 each
Dining table W/Foam Wrap $20.00 each
Sealing / Acrylic Table $5.00 each
Stretch Film / Wrap Plastic $20.00 each
